DAVE SWINDLER, EAA 36496
Alberto Santos-Dumont
The sight of an airship from the ground is a universal attraction. You cannot help gazing up to see those wonderful ships floating effortlessly
by, creating all kinds of dreams for the future.
For the past eight years, Marvin Polzien, EAA
373784, of Ardmore, Oklahoma, has been designing,
building, and flying blimps. He finds himself among
an elite few who have sufficient tenacity to build and
fly such machines, and he’s living proof that the sport
of building and operating small blimps is a real form
of sport aviation.
