PLANE TALK
Back to the beginning. As I’ve
indicated, all this is still in the planning stages. But it’s getting closer
to “start time.” Word is getting out,
and Scott is getting calls from kids
and parents. The most asked question is, “How much does it cost?”
Here’s Scott’s answer, “It costs commitment.” That’s all. But that’s huge.
So here we have it: a program

experience, and they “haven’t been
forthcoming.” We have programs,
magazines, brochures, all that, but
where are the hands-on volunteers?
Scott said two people have come forward and said, “Let me know when
and where, and I’ll be there.” And he
has the probability of a couple more
in the fall. But he needs more.
I know, we’re all busy. I jealously
guard my weekends: I get a free pass
all week to do airplane things but
reserve weekends for my own fam-
