Cirrus Aircraft announced a $1.39 million maximum ini- tial price for owners of current
production reservations for its single-engine Vision personal jet. The jet
will be delivered delivered in a well-equipped configuration analogous to
the current GTS model in the SR22
piston family of airplanes. For customers reserving a Vision jet production
position between now and December 31, 2009—with a non-refundable
$100,000 deposit—the maximum
purchase price for a Vision jet will be
$1.55 million. Beginning January 1,
2010, a new Vision jet production position reservation will be secured with
a non-refundable $50,000 deposit
with a maximum purchase price of

Established

REMOS Pilot Center (RPC) program.

establish sport pilot and private pilot

ize the fixed base operator and flight

First Test Flight
Shark Aero of Slovakia made the
first flight of its new Shark LSA on
August 19. The fixed-gear model
is produced by Shark Aero s.r.o. of
Senica, Slovakia, which intends to
produce a retractable-gear version.

Husky Installation

FAA STC approval for its vortex
generator (VG) kits; they are ready
for shipment and installation on
the Aviat Husky models A- 1, A-1A,

Flight Data Systems’ New T- 30
Electronic Tachometer
Flight Data Systems now offers its T- 30 electronic tachometer. The
device monitors operation of both the left and right ignition systems
