airplane. Barbara is an accomplished
seamstress and master gardener
who has learned quite a bit about
airplanes. Gilbert, EAA 370073, a
retired mechanical engineer, is a pilot
who has learned quite a bit about
plants and gardening. They, like
their Piper PA- 16 Clipper, set a fine
example in the world of aviation—
and in particular, in the Short Wing
Piper Club (SWPC) family.
