DC;; REUNION PLANNED
FOR AIRVENTURE ;;;;
WHAT COULD BE THE largest Douglas DC-3/C- 47 gathering in more than 60
years will be a centerpiece of activities at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2010.
EAA is working with a large group of owners and operators of the venerable
aircraft, which commemorates its 75th anniversary in 2010, to bring their
airplanes and join the reunion. ;e event is being organized under the theme
“;e Last Time…” as it likely will be the final time that more than 25 of these
airplanes will be seen together, including in formation flights. ;e gathering
will also mark a major reunion for scores of pilots, flight attendants, mechanics, crew chiefs and passengers who flew, operated, and traveled in these
aircraft.
Details of “;e Last Time…” weeklong festivities are still being finalized,
planned activities will include a mass formation arrival, a designated aircraft
display area, historical and technical forums/presentations, fly-bys and a
special evening DC- 3 commemorative program at ;eater in the Woods.
Douglas Aircraft made the first flight of its new DC- 3 on December 17,
1935. Fewer than 100 of the aircraft remain airworthy in the United States.

GET THE PREHEAT SYSTEMTHAT RUNS ON ALLCYLINDERS.
“We were impressed with the performance . . .
this system is an excellent value and is suitable
for very cold conditions.” -AVIATION CONSUMER
Preheating improves safety and extends
the life of your expensive engine by
reducing damage caused by cold
starts. We have systems to heat
the cylinders, the oil, or both –
and we do it better than anyone
else. We never leave cylinders
unheated due to conflicts
with your CHT sensors, and
our metal sump heater makes
silicone pads obsolete.
Our systems are also non-invasive...
we don’t replace any engine parts with ours.
