Handy unit. I have it in my office at the airport and listen to the local radio station. With
the “aviation interrupt” on, I can listen on our local communication frequency to know
what the aircraft traffic is. Wish I’d had one years ago. ... Stephan Pierce, EAA 396903
...A solid product; easy to operate with clear instructions. I lent it to a student I am men-
toring, and I haven’t been able to get it back! ... Steve Kessinger, EAA 516293
...I use it every day; it sits atop my toolbox. I listen to the radio and the tower communica-
tions. I like it and would only suggest a couple of things: memory presets for the AM and
FM stations as well as the air band, also the reception for the air band could be better. All
in all it works well at the airport. ... John Ferrick, EAA 613964
...Great for listening to what’s happening in the pattern while tooling around in the hangar.
... Andy Gamache, EAA 688111
... The radio is small enough to take along for a fly-in and could even be stuffed into a
backpack to listen to on the go with a set of earplugs…For under $100, it’s a pretty good
option for those who want a scanner but have trouble justifying spending a C-note for an
aviation-only receiver. Mine is going into the hangar to monitor both the local UNICOM
channel as well as 121. 5 while playing tunes to maintain Fly Babys by. ... Ron Wanttaja,

recommending it enthusiastically to my pilot friends.

My advice is to try the two week free trial... It pro-
vides a tremendous amount of information, and is
intuitive to set-up and use. ... R.D. Witham 787969
A great compilation of weather data for those who
appreciate a plain English format versus the outdated
bureaucratese. Assimilates data from multiple sources
into one, easy-to-use place…. I was pleased with the
product. ... Bill Strawn, EAA 641544
