The Grimes Flying Laboratory
In the night sky, you see it long
before you can distinguish what
it is. It’s moving, and to say that
it’s twinkling is an understate-
ment. It’s a cacophony of diverse,
brilliantly colored lights and
flashing sequences. Scenes from
Steven Spielberg’s movie Close
Encounters of the Third Kind come
to mind, but as this “thing”
comes closer, you hear a familiar
sound: a radial aircraft engine…
maybe two.
