are stunning, but this
isn’t just a pretty picture

short and to the point, it gives a feel for the amazing
people and animals that populate this area, both past
and present.

long way in explaining why people who fly low and
slow have a slightly different take on the world when

I loved the layout of the book, with different sections showing different aspects of life in the desert. It is hard to believe the photographer shot photos from a powered parachute; the pictures are so realistic that you feel you can reach out your hand and touch the desert itself.
