This ratchet, with a 3/8 socket on one side and a 7/16 on the other, made my life easier. These
two sizes are the most common when building an airplane. I just looked for the blue handle on
my worktable, and I was good to go. Convenient to use, and the shorter length was a plus also.

If you are looking to reduce the number of ratchets required for a job, this may be just the ticket.
However, if you are looking for a compact ratchet to use in tight spaces, other styles of ratchet
may be a better choice. It worked as expected and is unique with the dual drive options in one
tool. ... Steve Fisher, EAA 203906
I have used two different ratchets for years; one with a 3/8-inch and one with a 7/16-inch
socket. Having both in one is great, but the tool is bulky for hard-to-get-at places. It is not the
perfect tool, but what tool is? ... Les Sousa, EAA 1018894
Let’s dispense with the bad first: First, the label said “Made in Taiwan”; second, the selector
lever worked opposite from what I’m used to, and I would like to have seen it on both sides. At
first I thought the plastic body was a little chintzy but turned out to be plenty rugged, although
a little bulky in 1/4-inch mode.
Now the good stuff: The fine increments
of ratchet and small size of the handle are
great when pecking at a fastener in a
confined space. The ergonomics are exceptional. And of course being double-sided
means fewer trips to the toolbox.

I thought the DVD was well done; content was
factual and informative. It was also a good review
for me since I am a low-time tailwheel pilot.
Flying sequences were well done. The only minor
negative comment was that the volume level did
not stay consistent between scenes.
