1. Paul Stojkov, aircraft commander, leads a briefing with the flight crew before departing DuPage County Airport in Illinois for Oshkosh.

2. Three P- 51 ‘Little Friends’ join up with “FIFI” south of Fond du Lac and escort the bomber the rest of the way to Wittman Regional Airport.

David has attended every AirVenture since he was 8 with his father and is currently the Commemorative Air Force’s operations manager for “FIFI”. “I wouldn’t be where I am today without the help and mentorship of the CAF,” David said.
