ALAN FARKAS NAMED CHAIR OF EAA LEGAL
ADVISORY COUNCIL
EAA PRESIDENT/CEO ROD HIGHTOWER
introduced EAA Young Eagles Co-
Chairman Jeff Skiles as a regular monthly
columnist in Sport Aviation starting this
month (see page 76). Jeff calls his column
Contrails. Rod said, “I think that is a great
name for a collection of tales that describes
his remarkable life in aviation.”
Jeff is devoted to the success of EAA’s
youth programs and believes that Sport
Aviation is an important way for him
to express his passion for aviation to our newest and youngest
members. As a longtime professional pilot, Jeff has a lifetime
of stories to share, and his collection of unique and noteworthy
experiences will certainly entertain Sport Aviation readers.
Rod continued, “Adding Jeff’s voice to our collection of
writers will showcase EAA’s commitment to the very successful
Young Eagles program to our membership and the world
of aviation. Jeff is thrilled to be joining our respected list of
contributors and working with our excellent EAA publishing
staff. I think you will agree that Jeff’s writing talents truly express
the vision of EAA and AirVenture. He is a valuable addition to our
fantastic stable of writers who, every month, bring the ‘Spirit of
Aviation’ to your home.”
