What do you enjoy most about your job?
Interacting with members to serve their needs.
Being a part of the communities provides me with
an opportunity to help them achieve their goals.
If you could own any airplane, what would it be?
The Stinson Reliant SR-7B. Style, grace, and one
of the classiest-looking airplanes I’ve laid eyes on.
Longtime favorite.
Most memorable EAA experience? Landing on
the green dot the first time I flew in to AirVenture in
2002 with my dad.

Who introduced you to aviation? My dad took me to the airport in Stuart, Florida, when I was very young. We would just sit and watch the airplanes take off and land, and that’s where I believe I found the passion.

What are your aviation-related hobbies? Other
than building full-scale aircraft, I build and try to fly
R/C airplanes, build plastic models, and enjoy fly-ins
and air shows.
Who is an inspiration to you in aviation? Steve
Wittman. He did so much with so little, and became
wildly successful throughout his aviation career.
Wish I could have met him.

What kind of volunteer work do you do? I volunteer each summer with my home chapter ( 129) to mow the grass at Oshkosh the week prior to AirVenture. I’ve also been a Young Eagles pilot, ground crew, and chapter officer for many years.

What are you building? I am building a Wittman
Tailwind W- 10. I’ve built a Van’s RV- 7 and part of a
Thatcher CX4, and I plan to build either a Baby Ace
or Legal Eagle XL.
